Ian Raines (vocals/bass) is a highly talented singer
and musician. He also plays alto sax. Ian and Clive were at school
together where they formed their first band, Stallion. Apart from
his work with Rococo, Ian has also had several solo releases, singles
and an album. He has also had work released under the name Mickey
Moore. Ian had a hit with the band Tracks, worked with Stephanie Lawrence
in T'n'T and appeared on fusion band First Light guitarist Ronnie
Johnson's solo album, Give 'Em Enough Rope. Raines lists his influences
as "Led Zeppelin to Pink". |

Roy Shipston (keyboards/vocals/) studied music
theory and classical piano but made his first public appearances at
the age of 11 with his father's dance band. Artistes he was worked
with since include: Peter Green, Carl Palmer of ELP, renowned singer
Chris Thompson (with guitarist Robbie MacIntosh), Go West's Pete Cox,
Nico McBrain (Iron Maiden), Kenny Driscoll (Lone Star), Mike Harrison
(Spooky Tooth), Micky Moody (Whitesnake), Paul Williams, Osibisa guitarist,Jake
Sollo, Jim Diamond, and Back Street Crawler. Shipston counts Beethoven,
Zappa and Lennon among his major influences. |

Clive Edwards is a highly-renowned drummer and
percussionist, particularly known for his work in Heavy Rock. He formed
a band with Ian while they were at school called Stallion. Since then
he has recorded and performed with UFO, Wild Horses, The Pat Travers
Band, Phil Lynott, Dave Stewart & Annie Lennox, John Cale, Mickey
Moody & Bernie Marsden, SOS, Chris Thompson, Lionheart, Uli Jon
Roth, Electric Sun and Grand Prix among others. Clive says his influences
include all the great Rock, Blues and Jazz artists, from Jimi Hendrix
and Cream to John Lee Hooker and Miles Davis, and he's a big fan of
John Bonham.

Rod Halling As well as playing and singing with
Rococo, Rod has recorded or appeared with Toyah Wilcox, Supertramp,
Sandie Shaw, Tina Charles, Alibi, Giles Swayne, Paul Ives, Grace Kennedy,
Phil Jones & Afraid of Mice and many others. On the Rococo recordings
Rod plays a 1968 Fender Stratocaster and Gibson SG (1964) through
a Hiwatt AP100 amp and Hiwatt 4X12 Cabinet. The acoustic guitar featured
on the recordings is a Yamaha, borrowed from Engineer/Producer Ray
Hendriksen! Rod also uses two Mesa Boogie 100w amps (Mk I and Mk IIb)
with either a 1960's Marshall 4X12 or the original Hiwatt 4X12.

Brothers Ray and Andy Hendriksen are two of
the best recording engineers in the history of Rock and pop music
and later excelled as producers. They both started with major studios
at an early age and went on to work with top names.
Ray has worked with Marc Bolan, Supertramp, Streetwalkers, Mick
Ronson, Fripp & Eno, Jack Bruce, Steve Harley, Carl Palmer,
Pete Sinfield, Ginger Baker, Neil Diamond and Duncan Mackay, among
others.
Andy's credits include: Led Zeppelin, King Crimson, ELP, Jack Bruce,
BB King, Ringo Starr, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Back Door and
Vangelis. |
