 Cambrooke Fine Art Publishers have a vast portfolio of original watercolour prints of views around the UK, Europe and America. The sales for their excellent catalogue through traditional means has gradually slowed over recent years due to the diminishing of independent retail generally. With increasing online sales as an objective, we negotiated with Amazon.co.uk to become an online store there. We then linked Cambrooke’s internal records with the Amazon system to upload in a maintainable fashion the 2000 odd portraits, product combinations and images. Since then we have implemented the popular OSCommerce web shop to produce an online web shop, also fed with the same dataset.
