Ginzola launches ecommerce system for paypal and google checkout
This week, orbitsound.co.uk and ginzola.com have started extensively testing a new ecommerce platform that has been custom developed for them by ginzola.com. The new platform is completely bespoke, and uses a distinctly modern approach to minimise the effort on the part of the consumer to complete a purchase online. The shopping cart system can be used either with paypal or google carts, and supports complex VAT and a delivery model that is deceptively simple to use, but complete behind the scenes.

- Seamless delivery calculations; these are based on worldwide region, and the weight of the goods (volumetric or real)
- Delivery quote on screen immediately
- No 'log in' requirement
The new cart is designed to overcome all the 'annoyances' experienced in all but the most streamlined carts. The delivery cost is shown to the consumer instantly. Therefore the consumer sees a price on the screen that they end up paying.
Because the new cart uses google, at time of writing the cost of order processing is incredibly low: only 1.5% for a transaction plus a small handling fee of a few pence.
