A Thank You letter for the Macbook Air 2010

Dear Mr Jobs,
Thank you for designing and so excellently executing the new Macbook Air. In my recent years work my laptop (a 3 year old macbook pro) has travelled with me everywhere, the USA, China, Europe etc. It is definitely showing its age but has performed admirably during this time. In 2008 you brought out the beautiful Macbook Air, and I nearly bought one on the spot, but this beauty and portability came at a price; short battery life and tiny memory! Imagine my joy when you announced the new Macbook Air to the world! At last, a portable laptop that can actually do something useful at a reasonable pace for a reasonable amount of time!
Don't listen to the critics Steve (as if you ever did anyway). The idea of removing the hard drive completely is sheer genius. I agree, not only all laptops, but all computers will end up this way eventually. There is just no need any more for variable specifications in machines. Build a machine that is good enough, build it small, and build lots of them! Have you started your mac-on-a-single-chip project yet?
So, thank you Mr Steve. I will add to this letter my new Macbook Air finally finds me at the end of this week.
